Allen Iverson and James Harden Collide on adidas Harden Vol. 4 “Question”
The Answer’s most famous sneaker colorway meets the Beard’s latest signature model.

adidas has brought Allen Iverson and James Harden together on the Harden Vol.4 with a brand-new “Question” colorway. Inspired by Iverson’s first signature Reebok sneaker — the Question — this new Harden Vol.4 is a homage-packed nod to past and present NBA greats.
When Iverson’s Question launched in 1996 it turned heads immediately with its brash red toe and bold blue outsole, so both of those signature details are present on this commemorative Harden Vol. 4. The remainder of the upper is constructed of a crisp white mesh forefoot and suede heel, with a bold embroidered Three Stripe graphic on the tongue. Further pops of red appear on the eyestay tag and heel clip. Lightstrike midsoles are also presented in white, with a signature blue hue on the outsole finalizing the look.
Iverson and Harden are similar in more ways than one: both are ball-dominant guards who’ve won league MVP awards and shifted the way the game is played. Both the Answer and the Beard are also fiercely unique, brash both in their play on the court and their style off of it.
As Reebok is under the greater adidas umbrella, this isn’t the first time the two brands have combined styles and technologies. In 2019, adidas added BOOST to Reebok’s Instapump Fury to create the bold Instapump Fury BOOST, a shoe that appeared on HYPEBEAST‘s Best Sneakers of 2019 list. However, this does mark the two’s first collaborative effort on the basketball front.
The adidas Harden Vol 4. “Question” retails for $130 USD and is available now on the adidas webstore.
