'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare' Multiplayer Free This Weekend
You must download ‘Call of Duty: Warzone’ to gain access to the free mode.

Following the surprise release of a new standalone title this week, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare‘s multiplayer will now be free to play this weekend.
Players who own the free-to-play Call of Duty: Warzone will be able to access Modern Warfare‘s multiplayer mode for free. The promotion will go live at 1 PM EST tonight and end at the same time on April 6.
The Warzone lobby will host a “Stocked Up, Locked Down 24/7” playlist that features two maps: the 10v10 Atlas Superstore and the 6v6 Shoot House. Modes will include Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint. Although multiplayer is only free for a weekend, any items gained will carry over to the full version of Modern Warfare.
There are also 10 free Battle Pass tier skips available right now before the release of its third season next week. Tier skips can be found via a Gift Pack in the “Just For You” section of the store.
Players who’ve reached any tier above tier 90, tiers to reach tier 100 will be gifted and any remaining tiers will be transferred over to the next season’s battle pass.
In related CoD news, Russia will not sell Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remaster.
