Nike Air Max 95 "Alien" Gets Extraterrestrial
With a space-themed color scheme and a special alien graphic on the tongue.

When Nike designer Sergio Lozano created the Air Max 95, he drew inspiration from the human anatomy for the 95’s layered, textured upper. Now, Nike Sportswear is looking away from humans and toward extraterrestrial life forms for the 95’s latest makeup: a space-age “Alien” style.
Drawing its name from the embroidered blue alien graphic with a Swoosh-shaped smirk on its tongue, these bold Maxes also feature a cosmic color scheme. Black nubuck covers the toebox and shares space on the side panels with burnt orange, metallic silver, and grayish-blue patent leathers — all of which are placed atop a white mesh base. Eyestays add black stripes for a little extra color, and a strip of white with orange branded detailing appears on the heel.
White EVA foam midsoles encase heel and forefoot Air Max units — orange for the former, blue for the latter — with soft seafoam green outsoles rounding off the last visible piece of the design. If you peer into the insole, however, you’ll see a hidden surprise: the same alien head from the tongue, surrounded by repeating Swoosh graphics.
The Nike Air Max 95 “Alien” is available at retailers like Oneness, and is priced at $170 USD.
