BAPE Introduces Minimalist "b" SS20 Collection

As BAPE prepares to launch its landmark shop-in-shop within COMME des GARÇONS Osaka, the heritage streetwear label is teasing goods set to launch at the new space. Launched for Fall/Winter 2019, the minimalist “b” continues, with a fresh selection of understated BAPE favorites in store for warmer weather.
Genderless wardrobe staples appear throughout the new selection, anchored by mature takes on BAPE’s iconic branding. Zip-up hoodies, cardigans, pullover sweaters, shirts and tees are all executed in versatile neutral tones of oatmeal, grey, white and black. Furthermore, the items all feature lowercase “BAPE” and “b” verbiage, complete with embedded APE HEAD logos. Conventional BAPE tags appear at the sleeve hems, while sporadic “*A BATHING APE” prints are the most direct link to the familiar BAPE branding.
The new line will debut at BAPE’s forthcoming COMME des GARÇONS store-in-store and BAPE’s web store April 3 before hitting other outposts on April 4.
Most recently, BAPE launches items as diverse as reusable camouflage tumblers and GORE-TEX layering pieces.
