Gatorade x Nike PG 4 "Orange Gx" Presents Thirst-Quenching Colorway
Inspired by a popular flavor of Gatorade’s new Gx hydration system.

Gatorade and Nike Basketball have teamed up on Paul George‘s PG 4 once again, presenting an “Orange Gx” style. This marks the third Gatorade-themed iteration of the Los Angeles Clippers‘ forward’s latest signature sneaker, following up an inaugural NBA 2K20-exclusive “Grape Gx” in January and a tie-dyed “Barely Volt/Total Orange” that released as part of Nike‘s NBA All-Star Weekend offerings.
Compared to other Gatorade-themed makeups, this “Orange Gx” pair is relatively simple, forgoing the ultra-bold stylings of the previous duo in favor of bright hues and a technical build. However, it’s certainly not lacking in the vibrant detail department. Uppers feature a bright green base, embellished with a repeating PG and Gx print. This is layered under a white and volt midfoot cage with orange laces, itself encased in a white sheath that uses translucent TPE on the lateral side and traditional mesh on the medial side.
White zippers with flecks of orange allow for this supportive cocoon to be closed or opened, and top orange eyestays add the option to secure the laces on the outside. Branding is handled by a black outlined Swoosh on the outer half, standard orange Swoosh on the inner half and a signature Gatorade badge on the tongue.
George’s signature appears in orange on both heels, and volt pull tabs aid with an easy on/easy off fit. Down below, textured white midsoles and soft green outsoles encase a full-foot Air Strobel cushioning system. A green plastic shank adds a finishing touch of flair.
The Gatorade x Nike PG 4 “Orange Gx” will release on Nike SNKRS CN come May 1, and is priced at $120 USD.
