Nike and Jordan Brand Nod to Basketball Pre-Game Rituals With Latest Pack
Models inspired by Luka Dončić, Ben Simmons, De’Aaron Fox and Brittney Griner.

Dončić understands the mental aspect of the game in a way that’s wise beyond his years. Therefore, his mid-cut Air Jordan 1 “Mindfulness” uses calming green and purple accents with inverted positioning on the left and right shoes’ Swooshes, outsoles and trim. “Breathe & Center” and “Center & Breathe.” are splashed across the heels for the shoe’s most visceral reminder of its purpose.
Fox and Griner love to get into the zone with their favorite music, so the duo’s Air Force 1 Low adds relaxing green Swooshes with a lenticular design that draws from acoustic waveforms. The intensity music can provide is acknowledged by a bold red and yellow embellishment on the lateral forefoot and insole. Red and purple detailing on midsoles and outsoles round things off.
Finally, Simmons’ old-school Nike Blazer offers a cracked grey suede upper with yellow Swooshes, gum accents and bold laser-cut graphics on the lateral sides. One reads “Heart in the Game,” the other “Pride & Passion,” heel tabs state “Dedication” and “Motivation,” and special insoles finalize the style
All three pairs will release exclusively at Foot Locker, and see a staggered rollout. The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Mindfulness” releases April 30, the Air Force 1 “Music” on May 14 and the Blazer Mid ‘77 Vintage “Motivation” on May 21. Retail prices have yet to be announced.
