New Balance Pro Court Cup Serves Up Classic Tennis Style
In “Burgundy,” “Blue,” “Turtle Dove” and “Black.”

Although New Balance may be most well known for its high quality heritage running models, the Boston-based brand has deep roots in the world of tennis as well, which are on full display with the Pro Court Cup. Arriving in “Burgundy,” “Blue,” “Turtle Dove” and “Black,” the Pro Court Cup offers old-school, low-cut sport style in plentiful measures.
Each pair in this quintessential quartet offers a traditional nylon base that’s bolstered by supple suede overlays. On the “Blue” pair this provides a two-tone look that mixes light and dark shades, but on “Burgundy,” “Turtle Dove” and “Black,” these parts are similar in hue for a more monochromatic look.
Branding is handled by white midfoot N logos, white heel pieces with blue lowercase New Balance spellout motifs and blue NB graphics on each eggshell-colored tongue. Final hits appear on the Ortholite insoles, and traditional tan rubber midsoles with embossed accents add a finishing touch. In years past, the standard Pro Court has been used heavily as part of the Numeric line, so this return to its tennis roots is undeniably interesting.
The New Balance Pro Court Cup “Burgundy,” “Blue,” “Turtle Dove” and “Black” are all available at the New Balance UK webstore now, and retail for £75 GBP (approximately $93 USD).
