New 'Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot' Trailer Features First Boss Battle Episode Against Beerus
Face-off against a level 250 Beerus.
Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, showcasing the first Boss Battle DLC Episode poised to introduce Whis and Beerus from Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods.
This upcoming DLC is the first Boss Battle Episode that Season Pass owners can access. The Season Pass includes two Boss Battle Episodes and one Additional Scenario, with Boss Battle Episodes usually featuring as much content as playing a few Sub Stories from the main game. The Additional Scenario, meanwhile, is on-par with one story saga from the main game, like the Frieza or Saiyan sagas.
Although this DLC features two characters from Battle of the Gods, it will not follow the same story. Instead, it will focus on following Whis’ training regimen and face-off against a level 250 Beerus, similar to the Dragon Ball Super anime. Ryosuke Hara, lead producer of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, suggests confident players should try and take him on before receiving training.
