Nike AF1-Type Releases in Earthy Multi-Material Makeup
A stately palette for the deconstructed N.354 silhouette.

Part of Nike Sportswear‘s conceptual N. 354 line, the AF1-Type provides an appealingly abstract look that recently surfaced in “Light Ivory/Earth Brown.” Thanks to its elegant color scheme, this altered Air Force 1 Low offers slight shades of Travis Scott’s Air Force 1 “Sail” from 2018 — but differentiates itself in both construction and embellishment.
Uppers are built from an off-white leather that’s left largely unadorned on the lateral side, save for an N. 354 graphic and brown taped seam on the quarter panel. The rear shows the beginning of an ivory strap, equipped with a hand-drawn brown Swoosh graphic. This strap wraps around the heel and is anchored on the medial side, where the details are ramped up significantly.
The medial quarter is constructed of a semi-translucent TPE and equipped with a cream Swoosh — a signature branded detail that’s absent on the aforementioned lateral half. There’s also another brown taped seam and even a somewhat random pop of sky blue. The upper’s remaining accouterments arrive via a pockmarked foam tongue, insoles stamped with brown text branding and a raised, ribbed rubber toe cap. Sail midsoles and classic gum outsoles finalize the style.
This AF1-Type is available in limited sizes on Nike CN, and will likely arrive at US stockists like Foot Locker in the coming weeks as well. The MSRP is set at $140 USD.
