adidas Running Creative Director Sam Handy Shares Wisdom in Latest Creator U Class
Discussing the future of football boots, his inspirations, and how to design.
adidas continues its Creator U masterclass series with a new episode by the running division’s creative director, Sam Handy.
In the video, Handy explains the brands’ best football and running products, as well as the future of sustainability. The session includes insider tips on five main sections, ranging from “putting innovation at the core of what you do” and “the role of sketching” to how he and his team create iconic designs, how to get started in the design industry, and the future of running innovation.
Handy explores and explains a number of pairs he has either worked on or has been associated with, ranging from the Paul Pogba-edition of the laceless Ace football boot to the more recent 4D Run 1.0. He continues to discuss how the collaboration with Parley also inspires him in what he does at adidas Running.
