NTWRK Partners with Akoni and Balmain for COVID-19 Relief
100% of proceeds will support The Global Fund.

NTWRK is partnering with eyewear brand Akoni and fashion house Balmain for a one-of-a-kind (RED) activation in support of The Global Fund’s COVID-19 response. The NTWRK is the latest brand to set up initiatives to provide aid to those most affected by the global pandemic with a drawing of 12 customized pairs of Akoni x Balmain “Wonder Boy” sunglasses, donated by the French label. The online drawing begins today, April 28, with 100% of the proceeds going to the non-profit organization which provides funding to the must vulnerable communities around the world.
Akoni and Balmain kicked off their partnership earlier this year during Paris Fashion Week, revealing an assortment of eyewear that sits in line with the bold DNA of the storied Parisian house. For this collection, the Akoni design team and Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousteing came together to create true collectors’ items, available only through The NTWRK. Each of the “Wonder Boy” frames is a one-of-a-kind design and personally customized by Rousteing himself. The sunglasses carry a painted surface that is slightly fragile, driving home the objet d’art feel.
Registration for the online drawing will open on April 28 and will close on May 4. All proceeds will be donated to The Global Fund. Enter for your chance to win a rare piece from the collaboration between Akoni and Balmain by downloading the NTWRK app.
