Last month, Nike partnered up with Gatorade for a “Cool Blue” GE makeover of the PG 4 silhouette. Teaming up with the beverage company once again, Nike has opted for a bold psychedelic spin on Paul George‘s signature shoe this time in “Barely Volt/Total Orange.”
The shoe comes in a bevy of bright fluorescent highlights, starting at the top with bold hits of orange appearing along the edges of the upper collars, laces and heel pull. Much of the forefoot has been kept clean, with a snug lacing system tucked underneath mesh overlays on the medial side — the compartment can be opened through the central zipper closure. To complement the orange palette, light volt accents are seen at the tongue tab, mesh cage, heel counter and lower midsection, while a hazy psychedelic pattern flush with splashes of teal and rouge cover the rest of the body. Furthermore, Gatorade’s thunderbolt logo appears at the medial side; Nike’s, the lateral side. All of these features sit atop a citrus-toned orange midsole that’s been detailed with contrasting speckles and a thin teal outsole.
The Gatorade x Nike PG 4 “Barely Volt/Total Orange” is currently available at atmos’ website for $118 USD.
In case you missed it, Jordan 6 Rings has been embellished with a crisp UNC colorway.
