Take an Official Look at the UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Max 90 "Pacific Blue"
Celebrating Air Max Day 2020.
To celebrate Air Max Day 2020, UNDEFEATED has prepared a take on Nike‘s Air Max 90 in bright homage to ACG running. Dubbed the “Pacific Blue,” the bold take is one of three colorways from the streetwear imprint’s latest collaboration with Nike.
Drawing from the ’90s New York street scene’s adoption of technical outdoor gear, the upper of the Air Max 90 has been stripped down and reinterpreted with an array of materials. Tones of “Pacific Blue,” “Vast Grey” and “Vivid Purple” expressed through an updated construction of nubuck leather and hairy suede paired with translucent overlays and technical mesh. The reimagined paneling, decorative details and padding restructured the popular model for a sleeker design.
New elements on the shoe include a removed mud flap, added heel pull tab, enlarged hairy suede Swoosh and tongue lacing reminiscent of the Nike Zoom Vomero 5. Rounding up the design of the shoe is UNDEFEATED branding on the tongue tag and back panel, Nike Air and Air Max markings on the rear and speckled midsole and icey rubber outsole, and three different laces.
Priced at $150 USD, the UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Max 90 “Pacific Blue” is set to release alongside and apparel range Air Max Day March 26 in TD, PS, GS and men’s sizing exclusively on UNDEFEATED’s website.
