Skepta, Chip & Young Adz Share New Visual for "Waze"
The group’s new ‘Insomnia’ album arrives this Friday, March 27.
Skepta, Chip and Young Adz‘s collaborative project Insomnia is almost here. Now the trio have debuted the first track from the upcoming record with “Waze” featuring a video that takes them back to their respective blocks, supported by their crews for the prototypical posse cut.
Insomnia is the first time that Skepta is slated to release a full fledged LP sinve last year’s Ignorance Is Bliss while Chip is returning from his 2018 album Ten10. Young Adz broke out through his D-Block Europe record Street Trauma last year.
Skepta takes over the middle verse, focusing on the pull he has in the hip-hop and pop world at large, rapping, “Say hello to the psycho/ I wrote a list of all the sh*t that I wanna kill/ I put the game first and if it didn’t work/ Then by now I’d be bang on the drill/ I can make a mill’, I get a mop like a cleaner/ I can get Koffee and Justin Bieber.”
Watch “Waze” below and stay tuned for Insomnia, dropping this Friday, March 27. In more music news, Kehlani recently released a self-shot, quarantine-inspired visual for her hit single, “Toxic”.
