Thom Browne Nods to American Sporting Heritage With Football Bum Bag

Nodding to its American roots, Thom Browne has crafted a brown leather bum bag in the shape of a football. This release follows another previous sports-themed reference, baseball, from the label’s vibrant Spring/Summer 2020 collection.
The bag comes in smooth pebble-grain leather colored in a rich hazel brown palette. Eight pairs of eyelets appear at the front, complemented by bright tri-colored threads that resemble the main stitches of a traditional football. Wide white stripes are placed at two ends of the bag, complemented by a gold-toned two-way zipper opening at the top. Along the body strap is a thick tri-colored belt that comes with a gold clip-on buckle at the back — the length can be adjusted via a black nylon ripstop strap. As a finishing touch, the bag boasts a smooth satin lining that’s decorated in vertical stripes of red, white and blue, accompanied by a small inner pouch.
