COMME des GARÇONS HOMME Teams With New Balance for Made in US RC1300s
Crisp black/white and white/black styles, equipped with ABZORB midsoles and Vibram outsoles.

COMME des GARÇONS HOMME and New Balance have teamed up for two high-end, made in US takes on the RC1300. Following up its duo of 997S styles from 2019, the Junya Watanabe-helmed COMME des GARÇONS sub-label has brought a similar refined aesthetic to the sporty 1300 silhouette.
With an eye towards minimalism, each makeup features a crisp mix of black and white tones. One uses a black base with white accents, the other an inversed mix of a white base with black accents. Soft mesh is overlaid with supple suede panels on both pairs, and each features a contrasting leather N on the lateral and medial quarter panels.
More New Balance branding is present on the tongue tag/heel, and a plastic heel clip somewhat reminiscent of the 574 adds support. Down below, a thick ABZORB midsole is split into two pieces while a Vibram outsole equipped with rugged tread completes the look and ensures long-lasting grip in all conditions.
The COMME des GARÇONS HOMME x New Balance RC1300 is available now for $319 USD at retailers like END.
New Balance has been on a collaborative roll as of late, debuting reflective 990v5s crafted by HAVEN and colorful 827s put together by Aimé Leon Dore.
