Progressive design that “challenges the common and breaks boundaries.”

Last year, Jakarta-based imprint Elhaus embodied the spirit of the ‘Old West’ for their Fall/Winter 2019 collection. The brand returns with its “Breaking Glass” collection for the Fall/Winter 2020 season, focusing on disrupting conventional ideas and breaking boundaries by incorporating their independently designed fabrics into utilitarian pieces.

Through progressive design, the collection features Elhaus’ self-produced fabrics, which maximize the limit of traditional production techniques in creating new and modern garments. High quality hardware upgrades the collection, while graphics of bones, patchwork prints and zip detailing combine design and practicality. A color palette of muted green, brown and black gives the collection a subdued, relaxed feel while highlighting the fabrics’ textural qualities.

Key pieces include a multi-pocket jacket with a large pouch on its back, pants with contrasting panels and a kimono-like jacket updated with technical detailing. Elsewhere, a work shirt is comprised of different prints and textures, underscoring the collection’s theme of uniting the uncommon.

Check out the Fall/Winter 2020 collection above and expect the collection to drop later this year on Elhaus’ website.

For a more preppy offering, BEAMS Plus has revealed its collection for the Spring/Summer 2020 season.
