Jhay Cortez Enlists J Balvin and Anuel AA for Trap-Heavy “Medusa” Video
The music video has trended number 4 on YouTube.
Puerto Rican artist Jhay Cortez has brought J Balvin and Anuel AA together for the visuals for his single “Medusa.” The vid above, directed by Fernando Lugo, see the three artists in a blue neon-lit cage rapping about their luxurious jewelry and flaunting their riches. Balvin can be seen wearing his new Nike, which is the first collaboration between the company and a personality of Latin descent. At the time of publishing, the music video is trending at number 4 on YouTube. The name’s track also is a reference to the Versace logo, which uses the Greek mythological figure Medusa as its symbol.
“Medusa” follows the release of an expanded edition of Cortez’s 2019 album Famouz, which dropped last month. Famouz Reloaded also features Balvin alongside Bad Bunny on the remix of Cortez’s hit single “No Me Conoce.”
