The North Face Continues "Seven Summits" Series With Everest Collection
Recycled materials were sourced from the base of the mountain.
For the second edition of its “Seven Summits” collection, The North Face is drawing from arguably the most famous mountain on the planet: Mount Everest. Recycled materials collected from Everest’s base inform the construction of the Bottle Source T-shirts complemented by the waterproof, breathable FUTURELIGHT-infused outerwear crafted from recycled polyester.
Three heritage pieces are repurposed for the capsule: the 7SE Jacket 1994, Retro Mountain Light Pant and accompanying hat. The trio are executed in bold pink or versatile black, complete with customizable velcro patches. Bolstering the layering pieces are the aforementioned Bottle Source tees, emblazoned with printed graphics that showcase Everest itself and the latitude/longitude of the other six major summits.
Look for the new “Seven Summits” goods to hit The North Face’s site, stores and stockists on February 12.
Most recently, The North Face announced a Renewed auction of upcycled vintage pieces.
