'The Big Lebowski' Spin-Off 'The Jesus Rolls' Gets Quirky Star-Studded Trailer
Christopher Walken, Jon Hamm, Pete Davidson, and Susan Sarandon round out the cast.
The official trailer for John Turturro‘s unofficial spin-off of The Big Lebowski, The Jesus Rolls, has finally arrived. The film was written, directed, and stars Turturro reprising his role as Jesus from the Coen Brother‘s iconic comedy, however, the directors are not involved with this spin-off film.
Although the project serves as an unofficial spin-off, it is also an ode to the classic French comedy Les Valseuses, as the film sees Jesus’ release from prison and setting out on an adventure of crime and sex with his two friends Petey (Bobby Cannavale) and Marie (Audrie Tatou). Christopher Walken, Jon Hamm, Pete Davidson, and Susan Sarandon help round out the cast.
Check out the trailer above and the official poster below, then catch The Jesus Rolls in select theaters on February 28. The film will also be available on-demand on VOD March 6.
