Kim Kardashian Shares Original Poem of Kanye West's "Lost In The World"
In celebration of the 10th anniversary of ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.’

Kanye West‘s revered studio album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is celebrating its 10th anniversary this 2020, and Kim Kardashian-West commemorated the iconic project by revealing the backstory of the track “Lost In The World.”
The reality TV star and businesswoman took to social media to share a handwritten birthday card her husband gave her for her 30th birthday, which includes a poem that West eventually used as a verse on “Lost In The World” and his own illustrations of the two of them. “Kanye couldn’t come up with some of the lyrics but then realized he had then in a poem he had written me that was my birthday card he gave me for my 30th birthday,” KKW wrote. “He took the poem he wrote me and made it the song. I keep everything!”
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is widely considered to be one of ‘Ye’s best works and was released following a trail of controversy that included his 2009 MTV VMAs run-in with Taylor Swift. The 13-track project features hits such as “Power,” “Runaway” and “All of the Lights,” and won two GRAMMYs in 2012.
