2020 will go down as one of, if not the most challenging and tumultuous years in world history. To simply put it, there’s very little to smile about over the course of these past nine months that we’ve all been sitting in quarantine. Any and all corners in which we as a society can turn to for dark humor has the potential to provide some much needed temporary relief. So to playfully translate the depressing energy that 2020 has given us, Carhartt WIP has created its newest “Everything is Awful” collection.

Comprised of both wearable t-shirts and drinking gadgets, the entire range is highlighted by the animated graphic that is embellished on each piece. It portrays a cartoon character adjacent to a cup of coffee who is shown rocking a Carhartt-branded bucket hat and reading a newspaper appropriately styled with collection’s moniker. The t-shirts arrive with both black and white options, the former of which possesses the fictional cartoon figure accented in red and purple, while the latter deviates with green and purple hits. Both the travel mug and the general mug are presented with natural white backgrounds and stark black imagery.

The black tee is available now for purchase on Carhartt WIP for $55 USD.

In case you missed it, Palace Skateboards’ Holiday 2020 Lookbook has been unveiled.
