adidas YEEZY BOOST 380 "Onyx Reflective" and "Onyx" Receive Official Look and Release Date
Choose between flashy and muted iterations of ‘Ye and the Three Stripes’ latest YEEZY BOOST 380.
Kanye West and adidas have officially announced the release date for the YEEZY BOOST 380 “Onyx Reflective” and its “Onyx” counterpart. One may boast more flashy details while the other eschews hi-vis flair for a more muted look, but both proffer rich earth tones and the sharp design lines that have made the 380 one of the adidas YEEZY line’s most popular latter-day models.
Uppers are composed fully of stretchy-yet-supportive Primeknit, dressed in two different shades of dark brown and featuring a blotted pattern that almost looks like abstract camouflage. The “Onyx Reflective” adds one more piece to this assemblage by weaving reflective threads in as well. A post dyed monofilament side stripe cuts a jagged swath through the lateral midfoot, with a high-rise heel piece and rope laces rounding off the top half. Down below, smoky-toned midsoles encase a full-foot BOOST cushioning setup and the look is completed by gum outsoles with a herringbone traction pattern.
The adidas YEEZY BOOST 380 “Onyx Reflective” will release in men’s sizes on November 27 and is priced at $250 USD. The plain “Onyx” will arrive a day later on November 28 and is set to be available in men’s ($220 USD), kids ($170 USD) and infants ($150 USD) sizes. adidas, YEEZY Supply and global retailers will have stock.
