'Deadpool 3' Pushes Forward With New Writers but Will Remain R-Rated
Potentially a new director too.

With Disney merging with Fox, many fans have wondered about the fate of various Marvel franchises such as X-Men and Deadpool. Reassuring viewers, Ryan Reynolds revealed back in December last year that the entire team had been working on a third installment for the Merc with a Mouth over with the folks at Marvel, but it now seems that there’ll be a change in crew.
According to a new report from Deadline, Disney, Marvel, and Reynolds himself have decided to go with new writers, tapping Bob’s Burgers veterans Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin. There could also be a potential change in director, as David Leitch – who directed the sequel — has his schedule completely full for the entirety of 2021. Sources close to the project also said that despite fans worrying that Marvel may tone down the mutant superhero in order to introduce him into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the upcoming Deadpool film will keep its signature R-rating.
Information regarding its plot or entire cast remain scarce at this point, so fans of the franchise should definitely stay tuned for more updates to come.
Elsewhere in entertainment, a fifth installment of Predator has been confirmed with 10 Cloverfield Lane director Dan Trachtenberg.
