Disney

Disney was founded by brothers Walt and Roy O. Disney in 1923 and originally operated as a cartoon studio, but has now grown into a mass multimedia and entertainment conglomerate responsible for numerous theme parks as well as massive animated classics including 'The Lion King,' 'Little Mermaid,' and 'Aladdin.' In recent years, the company acquired both Lucasfilm and Marvel Entertainment, consequently owning both the Star Wars franchise and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In late 2019, Disney also launched its first-ever streaming platform, Disney+.
