This Nike Dunk High Was Crafted for the 2021 NBA All-Star Game
The NBA and Nike add another footwear piece to their collaboration portfolio.
In addition to the craze surrounding the plethora of free agency trades, the NBA has also been making noise by expanding upon their collaborative partnerships with the likes of Louis Vuitton for a full apparel range and AMBUSH for a basketball collection. With this garnered impetus, the Association is now bringing to light more footwear projects with the Swoosh brand, one being this upcoming two-toned rendition of the Nike Dunk High.
Visually, this high-cut variation effectively merges together tones both neutral and pastel. The former is marked by the overlays and Swooshes which are submerged with glossy black patent leather, while the latter makes appearances through the minty green skins that color-block atop the tumbled leather paneling across the upper and the shoe laces. Located on the lateral heels, a translucent, circular badge is ornamented with Nike and NBA logos stacked on top of each other, and arrive neighbored by the words “All-Star Indiana Indianapolis” which points to the destination in which the 2021 star-studded hoops teams will battle it out on the court next year.
An official release date and pricing is has yet to be confirmed by Nike, but expect these to likely launch this February as this is typically the month when the All-Star Game festivities are held.
For additional sneaker news, the adidas Yeezy 380 “Onyx” and “Onyx Reflective” have been confirmed to release.
