Developer CD Project Red shared a new commercial for its upcoming title Cyberpunk 2077 starring Keanu Reeves, who is also slated to play a key role in the game. The commercial debuted in America during the first game of this year’s NBA Finals, which featured the Miami Heat against the Los Angeles Lakers. The advertisement features Reeves suggesting the criminal lifestyle within the context of the game is just seizing the day for its citizens. The footage flashes some gameplay moments before Reeves transforms into his in-game counterpart Johnny Silverhand and shuts the door of his exotic hypercar.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world action-adventure title set in Night City, a sci-fi metropolis where mercenaries call themselves cyberpunk and equip cybernetic enhancements to their bodies. As the character V, the player’s aim is to build their cyberpunk legend on the street while also hunting down a rare implant that could grant its users immortality. The mechanics are set to utilize heavy customizations to cyberware, skillsets, and more as your choices in-game begin to affect the world and story around the game’s protagonist.

Similar to CD Project Red’s The Witcher games, Cyberpunk 2077 is also slated to receive its own standalone Netflix series called Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The 10-episode animated series will highlight a street kid attempting to survive living in a society obsessed with technology and body modifications.

Cyberpunk 2077 will release for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 19. Meanwhile, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X ports are slated to arrive sometime later.
