Billie Eilish Takes Center Stage in New 'James Bond: No Time to Die' Music Video
Billie is the youngest artist to write and perform the 007 theme song.
Billie Eilish returns with her new music video for her single “No Time to Die”, the official theme song for the upcoming film James Bond: No Time to Die, set to arrive in late-November.
The new music video is a simple and emotive black and white visual that taps into the iconic spy franchise’s film noir aesthetic of the past. Billie appears radiant in front of pitch black backdrop with angelic glossy lighting as she performs. The original song was produced by her brother Finneas and Stephen Lipson with Hans Zimmer adding orchestral arrangements alongside Matt Dunkley. The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr also contributed. The song is specifically noteworthy not just because it scores the 25th Bond film or the fact that it will be the last to star Daniel Craig, but because it makes Billie the youngest singer-songwriter to officially record a 007 theme at just 18-years-old.
Billie first premiered the official theme song back in February at the 2020 BRIT Awards through a minimal, emotional performance. Since then, the GRAMMY Award winner headlined the list of 2020 Democratic National Convention musicians where she sang her other new release “My Future” and slammed Donald Trump. She also helped design the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics logo.
