Billie Eilish Delivers Pained Vocals on 'James Bond: No Time to Die' Theme
The youngest artist ever to write and record a 007 theme.
Following an initial announcement, Billie Eilish has now released her theme for James Bond: No Time to Die.
Produced by her brother Finneas and Stephen Lipson, the slow track sees Eilish show off her emotive vocal styling over the crawling piano as the orchestra swells in the background. Accompanying the orchestral arrangements by Hans Zimmer and Matt Dunkley is a twangy guitar riff from legendary The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr. Eilish’s evocative lyrics and pained delivery evoke elements of past bond themes while setting up an emotional landscape for the upcoming film.
With her contribution to the James Bond: No Time to Die soundtrack, the 18-year-old singer-songwriter is now the youngest artist to ever write and record a 007 theme.
