Summer Walker Stars in Raleigh Rapper Toosii's New "Love Cycle" Music Video
From his latest project ‘Poetic Pain.’
Raleigh, North Carolina rapper Toosii dropped off his latest full-length project back in September in Poetic Pain amplifying his musings about love and loss with new features from Lil Durk and Summer Walker. Today he returns with a new visual for his Summer collaboration, “Love Cycle.”
In the official video, directed by frequent collaborator Edgar Esteves, Toosii plays a call operator for the “Love Cycle Hotline” and balances fantasies of Summer’s partnership with the depressing grind of a 9 to 5. The offering also comes with the announcement that the rapper has signed to Capitol Records through a collaboration with South Coast Music Group, the North Carolina label that helped introduce the world to DaBaby through Baby on Baby. “I couldn’t see myself anywhere else. It’s like it was fate,” Toosii said in a recent press release. “I couldn’t see it no other way. I’m happy to be a part of the family.”
