Thom Browne Teases Partnership With Samsung
A Browne-branded Galaxy smartphone is purportedly on the way.
Thom Browne has teased a partnership with Samsung. Taking to Instagram on Friday, the designer posted a clip of his signature window blinds revealing his name alongside the South Korean conglomerate’s, appearing to be teasing the launch of a new Thom Browne-branded Galaxy smartphone.
According to WWD, the designer is planning a showcasing during next month’s New York Fashion Week to reveal the partnership. Known for his rather whimsical runway shows, Browne has been absent from the city’s fashion week over the past few seasons, opting to showcase his recent collections in Paris. In September, he returned to New York with a new performance installation at Bergdorf Goodman to celebrate the arrival of his women’s wear line at the department store.
Browne is currently slated to showcase his first coed show for the Fall/Winter 2020 season on March 1 in Paris.
