Liife & King Lil G Unite Black & Brown Cultures on "Posing"
A new single in support of Liife’s comeback album.
Rostrum Records signee Liife and southern California underground hero King Lil G are teaming up for a collaborative single dubbed “Posing.” A unity of black and brown artists and expression of the connection between those cultures, “Posing” also serves as a unification of Compton and South Central’s unique and rich musical backgrounds.
“No matter what you go through, there’s light at the end of the tunnel,” Liife shares with us. “Set your goals. You can accomplish them. Keep going, you’re going to get there. It’s inevitable.”
Notably, “Posing” also serves as the follow-up to the visual for Liife’s previous major singles and visual efforts, “Friends & Enemies,” “Lifestyle” and “Meet the Parents.” All of the aforementioned records come to usin support of Liife’s forthcoming studio album What’s Your Liife Like?, which is on course to hit streaming services and similar platforms later this year. What’s Your Liife Like? will also serve as a sort of comeback for Liife, who experienced a brief break from music in recent years.
