Lil Pete Debuts New Visual for 'HARDAWAY' Collab with Lil Yee, "No Time"
‘HARDAWAY’ is out now.
Fast-rising Bay Area artist Lil Pete is debuting a new music video to promote this week’s arrival of his debut studio album HARDAWAY. Specifically, Lil Pete is reconnecting with fellow northern California up-and-comer Lil Yee for an 806 Nick (@shotby806nivk)-directed visual in support of their HARDAWAY collaboration “No Time.” Besides Lil Yee, Lil Pete’s 16-track HARDAWAY LP also features contributions from DeJ Loaf, Yung Pinch, Babyface Ray, Money Man, Project Youngin and Mamba Cinco.
“I worked really hard on HARDAWAY,” Lil Pete shared with us. “I Made A Promise and 4EverFocused were tapes. I spent so much time on this album. I feel like I gotta go hard and make a way.”
“HARDAWAY symbolizes me going through everything in life the hard way, nothing was easy but I came out strong,” Lil Pete added in a statement emailed to The FADER. “This is my debut album where I’m sharing part of my life with you. I been workin on this project for two years now so this is special for me.”
