KITH‘s Fall/Winter 2019 collection was held at the prestigious Cipriani venue located in NYC’s Wall Street, Financial District. The presentation was titled “KITH Air” and Ronnie Fieg pulled out all the stops as he draped the cathedral-esque walls of Cipriani with a stunning video projection of a simulated flight journey over the night and day skies. Stops included desert lands, Paris and snowy mountains — each locale reflecting the types of clothes making it down the runway.

As usual, KITH presented its elevated athleisure looks for this season — joggers, tights, hoodies, sweats and other large logo-emblazoned sporty staples were in full effect in various earthy and flashy, retro tones. Some MISBHV collaboration pieces came by way of bodysuits for the ladies also.

The more casual part of the showcase was then shown in another section as newer collab designs were finally revealed. A Disney partnership debuted a few Mickey Mouse printed clothes and sneakers as well as cold-weather staples like puffer jackets, sweaters and hoodies. Elsewhere, a few designs with the logo of fashion publication ‘Vogue’ appeared as well as a Def Jam Recordings insignia-embroidered varsity bomber. Then, a few pieces in partnership with RHUDE designer Rhuigi Villasenor came through in bold retro graphics on tees and sweats.

For the “winter” part of the destination, runway goers witnessed some Pendleton pieces, TERREX outerwear and moon boots. The end of the show was capped by three KITH snowsuits for women in striking grey, black, yellow and red options.

This is Ronnie Fieg’s most complete showcase yet and FW19 is shaping up to be a truly epic time for the New York-based designer as he continues to expand not only his retail presence but also his rising dominance in the streetwear/high-fashion game.
