Team Rocket Begins Its 'Pokémon GO' Invasion
“I’ve noticed an alarming number of reports from Trainers who have found PokéStops that look…discolored?”

Team Rocket’s Pokémon GO invasion is officially underway. Team Rocket Grunts have reportedly been appearing at random PokéStops, along with these Team Rocket-controlled markers labelled with a dark grey color on the overworld map. Players who come across these villainous goons can engage in a PvP battle and subsequently capture any Shadow Pokémon left behind. From there, Trainers may Purify their Shadow Pokémon in order to replace their Charge Move Frustration with the Charge Move Return.
This new update arrives as part of the mobile game’s third anniversary, alongside a new appraisal system and the Charged Attack minigame.

It looks like sightings of discolored PokéStops have increased, as more Trainers have started to submit reports. Hmm… This is very troubling.
