Erased & Effulgence Come Together for Dystopian-Tinged Capsule

Erased and Effulgence have come together for a collaboration emblazoned by graphics inspired by Blade Runner and Neon Genesis Evangelion. The creatives behind both brands, who started off by scheming on the original HYPEBEAST forums, recently hosted a pop-up in Los Angeles to commemorate the capsule collection, now set to drop the various pieces online.
Design-wise, both brands utilize a combination of the characters A and E to mark the collaborative pieces. Translating themes of singularity from the film and anime franchise, the A symbolizes an interpreted “anarchy” logo of the future, with E representing both brands coming together as one. Further inspired by dystopian qualities, various slogans from “the year was 2086” to “its all in your head” represent the futuristically-tinged designs. Notable pieces include a tactical vest in three color ways, as well as a lightweight jacket that features 3M piping and an embroidered zipper flap. Graphics are emblazoned atop the t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts.
