Nike Unveils the Prototype-Inspired AF1-Type
As part of the new N. 354 archival series.

As part of Nike‘s newly launched N. 354 series, the Swoosh unveils the AF1-Type in a clean “Summit White” colorway.
N. 354 is a new line in which Nike dives into its vast archives to find inspiration that’ll meld with today’s design ethos, “simultaneously standing for the past, present and future.” Having already seen the Drop-Type and Huarache-Type, we now get a look at another familiar silhouette. Here, the iconic Air Force 1 takes on a hand-made aesthetic, where transparent panels help showcase its unique closure system. Additional prototype-like details include exposed stitching, hard-written markings, a reinforced forefoot, and padded tongue.
The Nike AF1-Type “Summit White” will hit retailers, including Nike.com, on June 28 for $140 USD.
