Patta Reworks Classic Handmade Mephisto Silhouette for SS19
Subtly updating the Match.
Having worked together twice back in 2017, Patta and Mephisto have returned for another capsule of handmade shoes. Taking on the Match silhouette from the French heritage label’s archive, Patta has added a selection of subtle design touches to the athletic-inspired silhouette.
Coming in either black or white colorways, the Patta x Mephisto Match features the Dutch label’s branding in the form of a simle embossed P on the heel and Patta flag label on the tongue. Elsewhere, the shoe features a unique lacing system — designed to reduce pinching and rubbing — as well as a padded collar and tongue guard. Lastly, the Match features Mephisto’s exclusive SOFT-AIR technology to guarantee comfort.
The two Patta x Mephisto Match colorways are set to release in-store — at Patta’s newly-opened Milan location, as well as Amsterdam and London – as well as the brand’s web store on June 28.
