The adidas Consortium Runner Mid 4D is returning in in a clean “White/White” iteration just in time for the warmer months. adidas is bringing the mid-cut sneaker back following its brief hiatus, as the Primeknit silhouette was recently reworked by Ronnie Fieg for a multi-colored “Aspen” makeover last Fall.
adidas’ futuristic 4D sole unit contrasts the sneaker’s stark white upper, appearing in its go-to hue of “Aero Green.” The sole unit is made from light, oxygen and liquid resin and has been crafted using data from athletes for optimum levels of energy return.
Its white upper features a slight gradient in its knit pattern and sees green threads add support toward the back of the sneaker’s heel. A base-to-cuff heel tab adds further structure to the sock-like silhouette, while tonal laces on the front bring the mid-cut 4D together for a snug fit.
The adidas Consortium Runner Mid 4D is finished with a Continental outsole and has a number of standout design features, such as exposed 4D technology inside, signature Consortium tongue tabs and tonal Three Stripes which lightly stand out against the knitted upper. Keep an eye out for raffles at stockists such as Sneakersnstuff to be in with a chance of picking up a pair of these highly-anticipated sneakers, which are priced at £399 GBP (approx. $510 USD).
