INVINCIBLE and adidas Consortium have unveiled “Form in Motion,” a FW26 capsule that reworks the adidas Samba and introduces the partners’ first-ever shared apparel range. Across both footwear and clothing, the collection shifts from surface-level overlays toward structural design, with pleats, gathers and layered panels that open up and change shape as the body moves.

The Samba Dress Shoes push the classic trainer toward formalwear. Brogue wingtip perforations and pinked, sawtooth edges run along the signature T-toe overlay and side profile, applying traditional dress shoe finishing to athletic proportions. At the back, the usual heel counter gives way to gathered, ruched leather that flexes with each step, revealing more depth and texture as the shoe bends.

The second Samba keeps the model’s familiar shape and branding codes while reworking its construction. Panels are cut and twisted so they overlap, and the raw seams that result are left exposed rather than hidden. Reinforcement stitching, borrowed from bespoke leatherwork, fills the negative spaces between the deconstructed panels, while metallic gold foil INVINCIBLE branding on the lateral side adds a restrained finishing touch.

On the apparel side, all four pieces share one playful detail: a woven adidas label that tears away to reveal an embroidered INVINCIBLE logo beneath. The G-8 Flight Jacket takes the boxy, cropped cut and 3D utility pockets of the classic flight jacket and adds a box pleat down the back, which spreads open in motion to show the adidas Three Stripes tucked inside the fold.

The rest of the apparel blends tailoring with sportswear staples. The L/S Knit Jersey reimagines the football jersey in a premium knit with a soft, textured hand, while the 1 Tuck Track Pants pair sharp front pleats with a long-pile wool for a trouser-meets-trackpant hybrid. The 1 Tuck Track Sweat Pants apply the same pleated tailoring to heavyweight cotton, giving everyday sweats a sharper, more structured drape.

The INVINCIBLE x adidas Consortium “Form in Motion” collection is available now via a global online raffle at invincible.com.tw, open until November 4 at 12 PM (GMT+8). The capsule then releases in Asia on November 7 at INVINCIBLE locations in Taipei, Xinyi, Taichung, Kaohsiung, Shanghai, Chengdu and Jakarta, as well as the INVINCIBLE online store, before a global launch on November 13 at selected adidas Originals stores and the adidas app. The Samba Dress Shoes are exclusive to Asia.
