END. & Maison Margiela Add Graffiti Marks to 22 Replica Sneaker
Reworking a classic.
UK-based retailer END. has unveiled an exclusive new take on the classic Replica sneaker from Maison Margiela. The silhouette — based on a 1970s German military sneaker — comes wrapped in an upper of muted grey suede and white calfskin. This upper sits atop a gum rubber outsole.
The stand-out feature of the sneaker, however, is the black spray paint markings that appear across the upper, giving the sneaker its graffiti name. Elsewhere, the left shoe also features stencilled “MARGIELA” black paint. Finishing the sneaker is the house’s classic number branding on the tongue.
Take a look at the END.-exclusive Maison Margiela 22 Replica sneaker in the gallery above, and expect it to arrive at the retailer on July 29. You can register via END. Launches now.
