English songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist SG Lewis has dropped off his latest album Dawn. The six-track record follows predecessors Dark and Dusk, acting as the third and final chapter of his concept album series.
While the album series sonically encapsulates the trajectory of a night out, Dawn “captures the energy of the end of the night, the intimacy of the quieter moments, and the emotions felt after the energetic highs of Dark.” Lewis adds, “It is a more introspective phase, and is the most personal music I think I have ever released.” With the help of Honne, Clairo, Ruel and Kamille, the rising artist creates a soundtrack fit for euphoric sunrise moments and the feeling of togetherness at the end of a night well spent. An accompanying visual for album opener “Blue” has also been released, inspired by the countless hours Lewis has spent in airports while touring in the last year.
