'Dr. Mario World' for iOS & Android Gets Gameplay Trailer & Release Details
Launching next month.
After announcing plans to launch the game on iOS and Android earlier this year, Nintendo has now released a trailer for the upcoming Dr. Mario World. The game was initially launched in the 1990s, and was designed as a competitor to Tetris. In Dr. Mario World, players match up different colored pills with the corresponding colored viruses to eliminate them.
The new trailer shows how the game has been updated for iOS and Android. Rather than falling down the screen — as is expected in Tetris-style games — capsules are dragged onto the game by the user to match up with colors.
Take a look at the Dr. Mario World trailer above, and expect the game to release on iOS and Android on July 10. Pre-registration for the game is now open on the App Store and Google Play.
