'Avengers: Endgame' & 'Game of Thrones' Win Big at The 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards

The 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards were handed out tonight at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. Celebrating some of the biggest films and TV shows to come out over the past 12 months, the night’s biggest honors unsurprisingly went to Marvel‘s Avengers: Endgame for Best Movie and HBO’s Game of Thrones for Best Show.

Endgame‘s reign didn’t just end there, the film managed to dominate a handful of categories by taking home prizes for Best Hero and Best Villain, which were awarded to Robert Downey Jr.‘s Iron Man/Tony Stark and Josh Brolin’s Thanos, respectively. Elsewhere, Captain Marvel also took home the award for Best Fight, while A Star Is Born won Best Musical Moment and Best Performance in a Movie from Lady Gaga. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was also honored with the Generation Award and Jada Pinkett Smith with the Trailblazer Award. Check out the full list of winners below.
