Holland takes video game training to the next level.
Spider-Man mainstay Tom Holland is the worst roommate in the new Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers promo clip alongside actor/comedian Hannibal Buress. Holland preps for the expansion’s release by physically training to become the “warrior of darkness,” his determination subsequently confusing Buress. Upon realizing that he’ll never truly be the warrior he desires, Buress comforts him by reminding him that his heart as a gamer is the most important thing. “It’s video games… It’s just buttons,” Buress adds gently at the end of his pep talk, lifting Holland’s spirits as they leave to play.
Shadowbringers is FFXIV’s third major content release since its debut as an MMO and looks to be the game’s biggest one yet. The expansion will include a number of significant additions, including two new races — the Hrothgar and the Viera — and two classes in the Dancer and Gunbreakers.
