adidas Gives the FYW S-97 Clad in "Ivy/Red"
Featuring an embossed cartoon motif at the midsole.
Over the last few months, adidas has been rolling out bold iterations of the FYW S-97, a silhouette modeled after the 1997 adidas Salvation. This time around, the German sportswear giant has returned with its latest colorway, paletted in “Ivy/Red.”
Red highlights are placed throughout the upper contrasted against dark green leather panels. At the top of the tongue is a patch labeled with EQT branding and the label’s three-stripe logo that’s also found at the heel. Breathable mesh fabrication lines the tongue, sides and forefoot, while black rubber is used for the lace cage. Hits of red suede appear at the lower sidewalls, placed above a chunky black EVA midsole. As a finishing note, a cartoon is subtly embossed on the corner of the sole that’s complemented by ridged heels.
