ALLBLACK & Kossisko Reunite for Retro-Minded, Vibrant New Visual & Single, "304"
The perfect hit for the warmer months.
Following his April appearance on fellow northern California up-and-comer Haiti Babii’s Warrior project, ALLBLACK is debuting a new single known as “304.” Released alongside its accompanying visual component, “304” features guest contributions from Kossisko and production from StraightDropVanilla and Drew Banga. The “304” visual was put together by director Adrian Per, with additional executive production duties handled by Delenciaga and Ari Simon.
“I just did some shit with Future, I just did some crazy shit. It’s gonna be a demon. The beat is made by Metro Boomin,” ALLBLACK revealed to us back in November of 2018, sharing some insight into his current plans. “I got hella shit: my whole gang and the Play Runners Association; Rexx Life Raj, I did some shit with him; please look out for Offset Jim, he’s a f*cking demon; you got Prada Mack, you got Geechie, you got Offset Jim. Be on the look out for Play Runners Association.”
“I listen to everything, but I mainly draw influences from Rick James, Prince, Depeche Mode, Ariel Pink and shit like that,” Kossisko previously told us, opening up about what motivates him to create verses, choruses and hooks such as his “304” feature. “Prince is one of my favorites, because everything he does is such a sound. Each album is like a movie, and they have all these different cinematic elements. I always want to make shit that makes me want to dance and what’s fun to me … It’s always important that you feel like you can dance to my music. It’s got to have a groove; it’s got to be fun for me to hear a million times.”
