JUUN.J Presents a Sophisticated Military Aesthetic for SS20
The South Korean designer also showcased a number of leather-clad looks.

Korean designer JUUN.J has unleashed his avant-garde aesthetic on the runway at Paris Fashion Week SS20, showcasing an imposing collection of gothic-meets-technical garments for Spring/Summer 2020.
JUUN.J has once again reinterpreted tailoring with a heavy host of exaggerated design elements, such as padded shoulders, boxy silhouettes and an overarching reference to militaria. Standout looks include a khaki green flight suit, a grey single-breasted blazer-come-shorts romper and the range of black leather jumpsuits, which each feature oversized shoulders.
Elsewhere, the designer presents a strong collection of trousers, most notably a pair of leather pants drawing inspiration from motorbike leathers and a pair of checkered suit pants delivered in a flowing, baggy style. Rounding off the JUUN.J runway presentation is a wide range of accessories, ranging from oversized cross-body bags to multi-pocket waist bags and an armband bag.
JUUN.J also debuted next season’s footwear offerings which see a reworked version of his chunky Volume 3 sneaker appear in bright yellow, dusty pink, grey, white and black. Take a look at the entire men’s and women’s presentation from JUUN.J in the gallery above.
