Dior Pre-Fall 2019 Hajime Sorayama Pop-Up Pods Land in North America
Showcasing the collaborative collection.

Dior has erected a traveling pop-up shop in North America following the recent launch of its Hajime Sorayama Pre-Fall 2019 collection.
Holding the first drop from the collaborative collection, the pop-up store has been designed to fit into any surrounding and draws design cues from the Pre-Fall 2019 show. Made from metal, this echoes the collections robotic and futuristic theme, with each pod complemented by a 5-meter tall version of the Sexy Robot sculpture as seen in its pop-up Hong Kong location.
The Ready-to-Wear collection is spotlighted against the backdrop of Japanese foliage and Sorayama artworks, and will sell pieces such as the $1,050 USD dinosaur-emblazoned B23 sneakers.
The pop-up pod will be at Washington’s CityCenterDC development from April 30 to May 6, and will travel to Jewel Court in South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California from May 14 to May 28. A smaller rendition of the sculpture and pod will open in
Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre on the main floor from May 1 to May 31. Take a look at the space in the gallery above.
