ROKIT Pays Homage to Notorious B.I.G. in Holiday 2019 Collection
The rapper’s lyrics cover sweatshirts, tees & more.
Following the release of a limited edition “Welcome Home” Kyrie 5 in collaboration with Nike Basketball, ROKIT has launched its “Public Domain” lookbook for the upcoming holiday season. The first drop of the collection reflects the urban, downtown lifestyle of the ’90s and pays homage to The Notorious B.I.G.’s hip hop influence.
Combining a basketball lifestyle with hip hop aesthetics and contemporary street-ready fashion, the collection features puffer jackets, quarter zips, sweatshirts and long-sleeve T-shirts in a contrasting red and black colorway. A retro letterman jacket sports “ROKIT” branding down its sleeves, while track pants boast two-toned paneling. T-shirts and long sleeves are emblazoned with lyrics from The Notorious B.I.G.’s “The What,” a nod to one of the American rapper’s songs. An eye-catching graphic depicting a basketball hoop engulfed in flames brings the collection together.
